What are Gift Cards? Gift cards are pre-paid cash cards that can be purchased or redeemed online at Yankeecandle.com, through catalog sales (1-877-803-6890) or in any one of our YankeeCandle retail store locations. To locate a store near you, please visit our store locator.
Important Information about Gift Cards:
Gift Cards can be purchased for a minimum of $5.00 and a maximum of $250.00.

Gift Cards are in US dollars and are considered the same as cash. They cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
Gift Cards are not returnable or redeemable for cash.
Gift Cards will automatically close when the balance reaches zero.
Any unused balance will be placed in recipient's Gift Card account.
When ordering on-line, a credit card will be required to pay for any excess balance on orders not covered in full by the Gift Card.
Two Gift Cards can be redeemed at one time on-line as part of the same order.
How do I purchase a Gift Card? To purchase a Gift Card, click on the "Gift Cards" link off the left navigation bar. This will take you to the Gift Card page. Please note, one shipping address per order. Choose the dollar amount for the Card and enter the number of Cards you want. Single click the Buy Now button to add the Card(s) to your shopping cart. The cards will arrive in approximitely 5 to 7 business days via USPS. A letter will accompany the Gift Card with a gift message, instructions on how to activate the Card, where the Card can be redeemed, and important information about using Gift Cards.
How do I activate my Gift Card?
If you did not first receive an Electronic Gift Card your Card is already active and ready to use.
If you did receive an Electronic Gift Card before your Plastic Gift Card, you'll need to transfer the balance to your Plastic Card for it to be activated. You can do this by calling 1-800-545-6882. Please have your Electronic Gift Card information and your Plastic Card with you.
How do I redeem my Gift Card? Proceed to check out. Once on the "Bill To" page in the Order Process you will be prompted to enter your Gift Card and PIN number. If the total cost of your order exceeds the available balance on your Card, you will need to enter a credit card to cover the difference. Gift Cards are debited at the time you place your order. Should your order be cancelled, the Gift Card used on the order will be automatically credited. If you have any questions about purchasing or redeeming a Gift Card, please email customer service.

Electronic Gift Cards The fastest way to send a gift. Select to have your gift sent electronically anywhere in the world within minutes. All you need is your recipient's email address. The email they receive has a valid activated Gift Card number on it which they can redeem on our site almost instantly after activation.
We also send a physical Card which may then be activated upon receipt in case the Card recipient does not want to purchase on-line. This Card is accompanied with a letter explaining how to activate the Plastic Card so that it can be used at any of our Yankee Candle Company-owned retail stores.
